How long does the hiring process take?: The amount of time it takes to complete a specific hiring process varies. All applicants that are invited to participate in the first round of the hiring process, testing or interview are notified if they will or will not be moving forward in the process.

1. How do I apply for jobs with the City of Webster Groves?: Applications are available online or at City Hall, 4 E. 2. What if I am interested in a position that is not currently open?: Applications are accepted for open positions only.

3. How can I learn about current employment opportunities with the City of Webster Groves?: Current employment opportunities are posted through the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the St. Louis American, as well as
online.

4. Do I need to complete a City of Webster Groves application if I submit my resume?: A completed application for employment is required for all position openings.

5. How long will the City keep my application on file?: Unless you are advised that you are on an eligibility list, you must complete a new application for any position you are interested in during the recruitment period for that position.

6. Do I need to complete a Supplemental Application when applying for a position in the Police Department?: Following successful completion of the written and oral board examinations, candidates receiving an invitation to participate in the "Chief of Police Interview" stage of the process must submit a Supplemental Application Packet (S.A.P.). Completion of the S.A.P. is ONLY necessary if you are scheduled for an interview with the Chief of Police.
