The City Council and Administration are engaged in a strategic planning process to develop a Strategic Plan for Webster Groves. This process has been ongoing since late 2021 and will involve community input, internal and external stakeholder input, and deliberative thought and discernment about the future plans for the City.
"Strategic planning allows our community and city government to identify priorities, allocate resources, and make sure residents, employees, and elected leaders are all aligned," said Laura Arnold, Mayor of Webster Groves. "It is vital that we do it and even more important that we have opportunities for public input in the process."
Community feedback will be used to determine if any changes need to be made in the initial work. More than 200 residents filled out a short survey providing feedback and this input is valuable to city leadership and will help make their work better reflect the view of the citizens they serve.
