Garry McMichael: Retrospective features photography, drawings, and paintings spanning the art career of the late Garry McMichael, long-time resident artist at Green Door Art Gallery. Garry McMichael was a photojournalist, commercial photographer, and artist for thirty years. He was a teacher and organizer of art workshops and was actively involved with the Greater St. Louis Art Association, Art St. Louis, and was Past-President of the Gateway Pastel Artists Association. A firm believer that “A rising tide lifts all boats” Garry worked diligently to help artists improve their art and marketing skills. The artwork will be on display and available for sale from Sept 1 – Oct 29, 2022. Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, Sept 10, 5:00 – 8:00 pm
