Payment Options

If a court appearance is not required, you may pay your fine prior to your court date. Payments for these tickets are accepted online, in person during office hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., by mail, or by using the afterhours night drop located at the Webster Groves City Hall. Make checks, cashier’s checks, and money orders payable to Webster Groves Municipal Court.

ONLINE PAYMENT OPTIONS

Online Payments for cases issued AFTER January 1, 2020

Payments can be made online at www.courts.mo.gov. Service fees do apply for payments made online. In person credit and debit card payments are not accepted for tickets issued after January 1, 2020.

Online Payments for cases issued BEFORE January 1, 2020:

Payments can be made online at www.ipaycourt.com/webstergroves. There is a service fee assessed for all tickets paid online or in person with a debit or credit card.


CASES REQUIRING A COURT APPEARANCE

Cases in which an auto accident had occurred, and cases not listed on the fine schedule above require a court appearance. Please see below for additional options for these types of cases.

Pleading Guilty PRIOR to your court date: 

If you wish to plead guilty to the charges without appearing in court, you will need to complete the online guilty plea form PRIOR to your court date. The Judge will review your case and subsequently send back sentencing and payment information. You will need to sign and return the plea and sentence documentation along with payment for the cases prior to the court date given. If documents are not signed and returned with payment prior to the court date, you will need to appear before the Judge on your court date.

Insurance Tickets

  • If you had insurance on the day you got pulled over, you can submit this proof by email or by completing the online form below PRIOR to your court date.
    • Proof of Insurance Form
    • If you do not received a response from the Court within 2 business days, please contact the Court to ensure your proof was received. Do not assume your case has been closed.
  • If you did not have insurance on the day you got pulled over, you can bring valid current insurance along with payment to the court office PRIOR to your court date during business hours.

PARTIAL PAYMENTS

Partial payments must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the court date given to you. Once you make your payment, a new court date will be given. If you cannot make a payment, you must REAPPEAR in court on the court date previously provided to speak with the Judge. Court personnel cannot continue payment cases without a payment.

No partial payments are allowed on recommendations involving an attorney. To obtain the recommendation, all fines and costs must be paid in full.  


ATTORNEY RECOMMENDATIONS

If you hired an attorney and received a recommendation, you will not be able to pay online. The Court requires the recommendation to be signed and returned with full payment. The Court will not accept recommendation forms that have not been signed by BOTH the defendant and the attorney. Payments are accepted in person, by mail, or by using the drop box located on the front doors of City Hall. 

No partial payments are allowed on recommendations. To obtain the recommendation, all fines and costs must be paid in full by the court date given.
