Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
About the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report is a set of financial reports produced by the City to comply with the reporting rules set by Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB). An independent auditor audits the Annual Report using GASB standards prior to its publication. The City produces many financial reports; however, the Annual Report and the City Budget are considered the two most important documents. While the budget looks forward and shows where money will be invested, the Annual Report details the actual numbers of financial activities for the previous fiscal year.

Ending the Use of Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
In line with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement and values, the City of Webster Groves is committed to ending the use of the name Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and its acronym as the term sounds the same as a racially derogatory South African slur for Black South Africans.
